Staycation @ Equarius Hotel

Had a mini staycation on the 19th at Equarius Hotel since that was the only hotel that had rooms left (cuz more atas & ulu) so we topped up $$ for a night stay. The room really looks much bigger than Festive Hotel/ Hotel Michael etc cuz the balcony was half the size of ours. But one downside was that Equarius' located a distance away from the Casino area and you've to wait for shuttle bus that comes every 15minutes. But we share the same pool with those staying in the beach villas (I didn't even catch a glimpse of the pool btw). 

Check-in was slow and we waited for at least 30mins. A guy who was there before us got so fed up he refused to queue anymore & he asked for the manager on duty. Afterwhich he got immediate check-in -_-

Useless dock station because not many people use 4/4s now, time for an upgrade?

Balcony. What I've learnt from this: always ask for rooms on the 3rd floor. Read on to find out why.

Different tone from the above bathroom pictures because I switched on the lights. Yeah, hotel has yellow lights. Not to mention, I made extremely good use of the bathtub and took 2 baths, at night & the next morning. I love the toilet! They also have 2/ 3 sides of mirror in the bathroom, you get to scrutinize your body like which area is too fat, has cellulite etc. I need to have that in my future house.

Had our early dinner at Imperial Treasure La Mian Xiao Long Bao and it sucks..... Especially when it's expensive. Not worth the money. Their xlbs/ paus tasted average, their fried rice really bland (and not aromatic) and their chicken breast is just ... really bad. You get better chicken breast in coffee shops, trust me. Totally a waste of money.

Walked around this area for 2+ hours I wonder how we did that. Took pictures, mainly of mum and dad!

Bought a small packet of Garrett's Caramelcrisp, best popcorn I've tasted.

The guys were snoring ALL NIGHT LONG, I couldn't sleep at all so I took more pictures(of myself). I think this was at like 3am or 4am lol. (Fyi, didn't sleep the entire night)

Yah, mum has to do this too hahah I asked her to.

Laksa from Toastbox for supper cuz I was really hungryyyy, thanks to the sucky dinner. But anyhows, I had Gongcha, yam pau from DTF, Garrett's before this and I'm still hungry. 2nd stage pubery.

The reason why you should get rooms on level 3 because you'll get a really big balcony where you can take your ootd or whatever. And you get to twirl around in your skirt and dance. 

Had breakfast at Nam Nam, my usual beef pho + meatballs (not in picture) and coffee! Oh anyway, they have really cool takeaway straws made with bamboo. I went to buy their iced coffee twice the previous night because of that.

Headed home to crash because I was really damn tired. And uhm, I skipped Audit class that afternoon. I don't always skip lessons. That's the only lesson I skipped in year 3 (as of now)! Not sure when the next staycation will be because I'd rather go overseas with the amount of money. But I had a good time!
