The Sample Store

Most of you still do not know...
but I'm currently in Sample Store's Seeders program,
('Seeders' get to have an early preview of new products samples & will provide reviews thereafter)
which means I'm a Sample Store blogger/ beauty panelist!

I signed up as a Sample Store member last year and my first redemption of sample was in November 2013, which makes it slightly more than half a year that I've been with Sample Store.

And here's an overview of how Sample Store works!

Basically, the moment you sign up as a member of Sample Store, 6 points will be credited into your account (registration is free). The other 2 points will be credited once you've filled in your profile. 4 samples can be redeemed (each sample requires 2 points for redemption) at any one time!

For the handling fee,
Sponsored samples= $0 handling fee (you get the samples absolutely free)
Other samples= $5.99 handling fee PER CHECK OUT (which means it'll be cheaper to redeem 4 samples at one go because the cost of samples will most likely be more expensive than the delivery fee)

(Getting started)
Did some printscreens to help you guys with the registration!

After creating your account, you will be led to a page to fill up your profile. It may not be the same as my print screen below because mine isn't a new account!

Now that you've 8 points in your account, it's time to check out the samples. You can either browse via categories such as 'new samples', 'sponsored samples' (my favourite!) or via more specific categories like 'eyes', 'face', 'feminine care' etc. By the way, Sample Store does not carry only beauty products, you can even find categories like 'food'!

To know more about a product, click on the product image and the following will come out! Ingredients/ where to buy/ retailing price/ suitable skin type etc.

And at the last part, you will see what the sample set includes as well as the sample size. Normally, sponsored products comes in 1-day sample size. There's also a higher chance of getting a 1-week supply if it's not sponsored (e.g. Lactacyd White Intimate Feminine Wash).

Scroll down further for an overview of the product + reviews.

And if you like the product, redeem the item!

Normally I'll go for the sponsored samples, because I'm a cheapo hahahha. After you've tried the products, don't forget to review to earn those points back! Just go to My Account > Notifications and there'll be a "Click here to write your pending review(s)".

To earn more points, you can generate your code/ referral centre badge by going to My Account > 'Earn extra points by inviting your friends to join', paste it on your blog and get additional 1 point with every 5 successful referrals!

It looks like this

or you can generate your own unique url: https://www.samplestore.com/r/99016

Currently they're having a contest, first prize winner gets to walk away with $500 Jetstar voucher ^^
(Help me so I can fly before school starts? Hahaha)

And another one, where you can get a retail sized gift (worth $22) + 1 chance in the lucky draw with every 10 successful referrals!
