Palmer's Skin Therapy Oil (Face)

Before reviewing, a brief introduction about Palmer's. Palmer's is an American brand with more than 170 years of history. They provide products for every skincare need- their most popular formula being Cocoa Butter Formula. Palmer's Skin Therapy Oil (Face) is a multi-purpose skin perfecting dry oil for face & neck.

Key efficacies of this product include: reduces lines & wrinkles/ lightens dark spots/ moisturizes dry, ageing skin/ brightens skin tone/ evens skin tone. Personally, I feel that brightening is so much more important than whitening. Vitamin C serum is hence a very important part of the daily skincare routine (Yes, I've a Vit-c serum that I use daily). Most Vit-c products are expensive but Palmer's has introduced their new Skin Therapy Oil Face at an affordable entry level price of S$29.90. Not only that, this new product contains Retinol, Vitamin A, Cocoa butter and 10 natural oils to attain that healthy and youthful looking skin. The scent of the oil took me by surprise. Rose scent, faint but definitely pleasant!

I normally apply one layer over the entire face and neck, then apply another layer on the problem areas (scars, lines etc). Because I've just received the product, I can't say how well it has worked for me in terms of lines but I like that instant brightening effect upon application. The oil feels lighter and less oily than I had expected, which is good!
